8 Mistakes Kratom Consumers Make

  1. Not rotating strains, colors, or vendors.

    If you take the same strains, color, and vendor repeatedly, there is a higher chance that you will build a quicker tolerance to kratom. This is because the alkaloid levels are so similar and just like anything else, take caffeine for example, you need more and more to feel the effects.

  2. Not researching the company (labs, reviews) before ordering.

    Your hard-earned money should go to placed that you believe deserve it. I don’t want you to waste your money, so check out my list of vendors that I love here. It’s important that we know who we are getting our kratom from and what their background is with this plant.

  3. Taking more a few minutes later because “you don’t feel it”.

    This is another way to make your tolerance increase quickly. It doesn’t work like that (not for me anyway). I recommend waiting 3-4 hours and taking more at that time.

  4. Switching to extract only or taking extract more than once a day.

    Extract quickly builds your tolerance and can become an expensive habit. I only recommend 3x a week, one serving each of those days (mixed with or without your serving of kratom powder) with a day off in between.

  5. Expecting kratom to solve your health/life problems.

    Kratom has done so much for our lives, but it won’t magically make your chronic illness go away, or make your marriage suddenly better. Create realistic expectations and don’t use it as an escape. Use it to enhance your quality of life.

  6. Not being aware of the side effects.

    Kratom can have side effects for a lot of people, and please be careful with which medications you are mixing it. Some side effects people report is constipation, acne, hair loss, weight loss/weight gain, irritability, etc.

  7. Not taking tolerance breaks.

    Make sure you download my free guide by subscribing to my newsletter on the homepage. Tolerance breaks are healthy for you to know that you are in control. It’s okay to feel pain, and we should allow our bodies to feel it so we can assess where we are at and if we need to seek more medical attention.

  8. Buying from gas stations or smoke shops.

    While this is useful in a pinch, the kratom is so overpriced at these places! Often times, it’s not very good. However, I have found some decent ones but unable to track the lab tests on them.
